Committed to making a difference, CLAREO has signed the United Nations Global Compact, which is built around 10 principles covering human rights, international labor standards, the environment and the fight against corruption.

Reducing our carbon footprint
Each year, we measure and reduce our greenhouse gas emissions across Scopes 1, 2, and 3, with a target aligned with the Paris Agreement: a 40% reduction by 2030.
Today, more than 95% of our emissions come from the use of our light fixtures. That’s why our product innovation priority is to reduce their carbon footprint throughout their lifespan.
Our concrete actions
Lighting that keeps getting more efficient
In two years, we have increased efficiency from 107 to 124 lm/W, and we are aiming for another 30% improvement by 2030.
Products designed to last
90% of our products are already repairable. We will soon launch our first fully upgradeable ranges to extend the lifespan of light fixtures while improving their performance.
More energy-efficient buildings
Our custom solutions enable energy consumption reductions of up to 80% in HQE, BREEAM, or LEED projects, without compromising visual comfort.
Eco-design
A pioneer in the market, we now have PEP environmental profiles for nearly 100% of our products. Available in the INIES database, they ensure transparency and compliance with standard RE2020.
Responsible packaging & logistics
- Eliminating single-use plastic.
- Recycled packaging, with packaging volume reduced by 50% for certain ranges.
- Low-carbon transportation: 100% electric deliveries in the Paris region, with sea and rail preferred over air freight.
