circadian advantage

Which light for which use?

Sunlight naturally varies throughout the day. Our body is accustomed to this light cycle and regulates itself according to this variation.

To reproduce the circadian cycle, we have developed a solution that defines light temperature and illumination intensity based on the time of day.

Work and concentration

graph1

500 lux constant on the work surface
Color temperature ranging between 4500°K and 6000°K

Well-being and comfort

Between 75 and 700 lux constant on the working plane
Color temperature ranging between 2700°K and 5500°K

Our Kameleon solution

KAMELEON enables circadian rhythm control of all luminaires with color temperature variation.

The system

This system can be used on several types of luminaires (LED Panel, LED Strip...) all selected with optics and characteristics promoting lighting comfort and minimizing glare (UGR below 16, SDCM below 4...)

Our KAMELEON solution consists of an intelligent control module that contains color temperature and illumination information.

It communicates in real-time with drivers via the communication bus.

It stores in memory the exact GPS position of the installation, as well as sunrise and sunset times, to adapt to seasonal rhythms.

A complete solution

Kameleon is a complete solution, connected and designed for ultra-simple implementation. It includes all traditional lighting installation elements, coupled with the latest innovations

  • An intelligent control module
  • An Infra-Red presence/absence detector
  • A brightness sensor
  • Two control buses capable of controlling up to 40 luminaires
  • A Bluetooth interface for commissioning, a wall control panel, a slave presence detector
  • A wall control panel
  • Three push-button inputs for manual override
  • Tridonic drivers
  • CLAREO latest generation luminaires

circadian compatible products

Practical examples

sufficient light

If natural light is sufficient, the luminaire remains off

insufficient natural light

The luminaire turns on when natural light is insufficient

standby mode

In case of absence, standby mode activates for a defined duration

extended absence

After an extended absence, the light turns off

light regulation

During the workday, artificial light automatically adjusts based on natural light input and time of day.
Color temperature and average illumination curves are defined according to the user profile.

The many advantages of the Kameleon solution

  • Implementation as simple as DALI
  • Ultra simple
  • Operates automatically throughout the year
  • Real-time regulation based on presence detection and brightness
  • Easy reprogramming via Bluetooth application
  • Energy savings
