Paris-Saclay Project
The Paris-Saclay project is an impressive technical achievement to which CLAREO was able to contribute. The Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (C2N) was created through the merger of two leading laboratories in the Paris region: CNRS and the Institute of Fundamental Electronics (Paris-Sud University).
A new 18,000 m² building in the heart of the Paris-Saclay campus was designed to house the teams. CLAREO supplied the lighting for this leading scientific and technology laboratory.

The people involved
This project was designed by ARTELIA and the Michel Rémon architecture firm for the C2N laboratory (CNRS and Paris-Sud University). Construction and electrical installations were carried out by BOUYGUES Ouvrages Publics and INEO Tertiaire IDF.
Project requirements
This project had three essential requirements:
- A design specifically for LED panels.
- Remote-controlled lighting.
- Creating a luminous ceiling for the walkways.
Our solution
To meet these requirements, we did the following specifically for this project:
- Created a custom panel and surface-mounted frame to meet the project’s aesthetic requirements
- Proposed our frequency-dimming range
- Developed a custom suspended 1200 x 600 panel with DMX programming, in line with our Atmosphere range. Click here to learn more about this range
