Paris Saclay Project
The Paris SACLAY project is a very fine technical achievement in which CLAREO was able to participate. The Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (C2N) was created as a result of the merger of two leading Île-de-France laboratories in their field: the CNRS and the Institut d'électronique fondamentale (Université Paris-Sud).
A new 18,000 m² building at the heart of the Paris-Saclay Campus was designed to house the teams. The lighting for this flagship technological and scientific laboratory was supplied by CLAREO.

Key stakeholders
This project was designed by ARTELIA and the Michel Rémon architecture studio for the C2N laboratory (CNRS and Université Paris-Sud). The construction work and electrical installations were carried out by BOUYGUES Ouvrages Publics and INEO Tertiaire IDF.
Project constraints
For this project, 3 requirements had to be strictly met:
- A specific design for the panels.
- Remote-controlled lighting management.
- The creation of a luminous ceiling for the walkways.
Our answer
To meet these constraints, we specifically developed for this project:
- Created a custom surface-mounted panel and frame meeting the aesthetic requirements of the project
- Offered our frequency variation range
- Developed a custom suspended 1200 x 600 panel programmed in DMX, in accordance with our Atmosphère range. More information about this range by clicking here
In total, CLAREO supplied more than 2,200 lighting points on this project.
