Alpinefoil Project
Located in the Grenoble region, the AlpineFoil factory specializes in the design and manufacture of Made in France foils for kitesurfing, windsurfing, and stand-up paddling. For the lighting of its new factory, this company called upon CLAREO to benefit from lighting fixtures with technical characteristics and harmonious rendering.
Project constraints
For this project, different constraints were imposed depending on the areas to be lit, particularly for the following rooms:
- The showroom of the company, where it was necessary to opt for lighting fixtures that would highlight the displayed products, while maintaining an aesthetic design aspect to make this room attractive.
- The finishing workshop, where it was important to opt for very good lighting that could reveal product imperfections.
- Storage areas and production workshops, where good lighting was essential despite high ceiling heights (4 to 7 meters).
Our response
In order to address these constraints, the following solutions have been implemented:
The showroom
For the showroom, we selected adjustable DownRays with a good color rendering index (CRI) that highlight products effectively without distorting their color.
StripLeds directed towards the ceiling were also installed in a cornice around the room to add a design touch to this space dedicated to showcasing AlpineFoil factory products.
The finishing workshop
For the finishing workshop, we chose cold white Panels (6000° Kelvin). Due to its almost bluish luminous rendering, cold white allows for faithful color representation and highlights the slightest imperfections in products, ensuring an impeccable finish.
Storage areas and production workshops
For storage areas and production workshops, we proposed HighBays and Everpaks to the AlpineFoil factory, which provide powerful lighting, even with high ceilings.
In addition to these areas, CLAREO also illuminated the executive offices, open space, entrance, changing rooms, landing, and kitchen area of this factory to provide the company with a harmonious and comprehensive lighting system.
For these spaces, we opted for Panels in the open space, adjustable Downlights for the executive offices, and low-luminance DownRays of various power outputs for the remaining rooms.
In total, CLAREO supplied more than 110 light points for this project.
