The CLAREO Glass Wool Spacer is the essential solution for all your recessed lighting projects in insulated ceilings, combining thermal safety, ease of installation and universal compatibility. Designed to fit the vast majority of recessed LED spotlights and panels (hole diameter < 150 mm), it meets all your needs in new construction as well as renovation.
Its intelligent modular cutting system allows you to freely adjust the device from Ø70×170 mm to Ø330×40 mm, depending on the hole diameter, the product, and the driver size.
Made from high thermal resistance PETG, it ensures an effective separation between the insulation (glass or rock wool) and the electrical components, thus preventing LED driver overheating, shutdowns related to thermal protection, and premature luminaire degradation. It optimizes the lifespan of the driver and the spotlight by promoting natural heat dissipation.
Simple and quick installation, no specific tool required: the spacer is placed or glued directly, with an integrated cable and conduit passage. Compatible with airtight installation (BBC) and the possibility of adding a silicone seal, it meets the requirements of NF C 15-100, RT 2012 and RE2020.
