The repairability of our luminaires
90% of CLAREO luminaires are repairable
At CLAREO, the repairability of our luminaires is a major focus that we place at the heart of our concerns and which is part of our eco-design approach for our products:
We are convinced that the lifecycle of our products doesn't end after their simple use, and we invite you to discover how more than 90% of our luminaires are repairable.

Luminaires with repair instructions
Some of our products come with repair instructions that will help you understand how to easily disassemble and replace their light source. The disassembly steps are also useful for easier recycling of each component.
Luminaires with replaceable external driver
Since the main cause of LED lighting end-of-life is related to their power supply, 100% of our products with external drivers can be repaired using a new driver.
Luminaires with replaceable source
To offer you the possibility of replacing the light source of your end-of-life lighting, some of our luminaires are equipped with a replaceable LED source or an easily unscrewable printed circuit board.
Luminaires with replaceable accessories
Because the repairability of our products is closely linked to the replacement of their accessories, CLAREO offers you a wide selection of accessories available for sale as spare parts.

Energy Savings Certificates (EEC)
What are EECs?
The Energy Savings Certificates (EEC) scheme is one of the main instruments of energy demand management policy.
Aware of current challenges, CLAREO has been developing EEC-eligible products for several years to meet our customers' expectations and needs.

PEP sheets
More than 500 references are covered under PEP
CLAREO developed the lighting market's first PEP according to the new PCR edition 4 and PSR 014 edition 2 updated in July 2023, to meet new environmental regulations in buildings in France.
To meet new regulatory requirements, CLAREO has launched the creation of PEP sheets. The first CLAREO PEP is usable across our entire range of Panels Backlights ACCESS 8 and highlights that the usage phase of these luminaires represents 90% of their carbon impact:

The PEP ecopassport Program defines rules for calculating the environmental impacts of lighting products in buildings through a Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) of products based on 6 pillars:
